1. About Ottr

Ottr is a household chore-tracking application for couples that lets you log chores, earn points, compete on a leaderboard, and redeem rewards. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ottr mobile app, website (ottr.app), and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ottr. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. The Service is designed for use by two people sharing a household (“Household”). You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for notifying us immediately at support@kadima-tech.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free plan

Ottr offers a free plan that provides core chore-tracking functionality at no charge. The free plan may be modified or discontinued at any time, though we will give reasonable notice of material changes.

5. Ottr Plus subscription

Ottr Plus is a paid subscription at $4.99 per month that unlocks additional features including managed & encrypted cloud storage, integrations support, smarter notifications, and the reward privacy filter. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

You may cancel your Ottr Plus subscription at any time from within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to Plus features until that date.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another user's account.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Transmit malware or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission.

7. User content

You retain ownership of content you create in Ottr (chore names, reward descriptions, etc.). By using the Service you grant Ottr a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely to operate the Service for your Household. We do not use your household data for advertising or share it with third parties outside our sub-processors.

8. Intellectual property

All intellectual property in the Service — including the Ottr name, logo, app design, and underlying software — is owned by or licensed to Ottr. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ottr's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7–10 survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
